River Road Park

River Road Park has two major archaeology-related attractions. The playground set contains a unique play-place experience with archaeology as it's main inspiration. It is equipped with slides, rock climbing structures, and (most noticeably) a handicap accessible sandbox with artifacts.

The other archaeological attraction in the park is the interpretive center. This building allows children to use their five senses to get a better idea of how groups like the Early Archaic and Woodland peoples lived in Indiana years ago.
